Nightingale Community Academy is a special school in Wandsworth for 238 learners with social emotional and mental health needs.

The main site in Beechcroft Road has places for 166 boys aged 5 to 19. Primary learners benefit from a purpose-built classroom hub and outdoor adventure playground. They have access to weekly music lessons and a comprehensive therapy service.

A satellite site, Nightingale Priory Lane, opened in 2026 and has places for up to 72 boys and girls aged 11-16 years.

Secondary and post-16 learners on both sites are offered a broach curriculum including vocational courses such as animal care, barbering, construction, horticulture, and hospitality.

All learners benefit from regular animal therapy at Tom’s Farm, which is located on the main school site on Beechcroft Road, near Wandsworth Common. Learners at Priory Lane benefit from opportunities in the local community around the site in Roehampton as well as at the Beechcroft Road site.

Pupils and staff work together positively in this caring and purposeful school community where relationships matter.
