Science projects 2026

In Science lessons this term, learners have been undertaking research projects into areas of their own interest where they think science can provide some answers. Learners picked a research to investigate, designed experiments, wrote up their results and came to a conclusion which aimed to answer their initial questions.

This is always a very popular topic in Science lessons with learners enjoying the freedom to delve into topics they are interested in from sports, gaming to food and use scientific method to answer questions.

The projects are then all presented in a poster format and the whole school enjoys finding out about these projects. Parents, carers and visitors to the end of term celebration events were also invited to view the Science posters that were proudly displayed.

Well done to all the learners and groups who participated this year. It was fantastic to see the breadth of topics covered and the depth of research and thinking that went into the projects.
