Nightingale Community Academy was inspected in January 2019 and we are pleased that the report confirms the school has made excellent progress since joining OHCAT and converting to academy status. We have been rated ‘Good’ in ‘Effectiveness of leadership and management’ and ‘Personal development, behaviour and welfare’ with ‘Requires improvement’ in other areas. Please click here for the full report.

The principal and leadership team, well supported by the Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust, have provided strong leadership, which has had a positive impact on the school’s effectiveness. As a result, there have been improvements in all areas, most noticeably in pupils’ behaviour and attitudes, the curriculum and in the wider opportunities for pupils.
