New Horticulture Pod

We are pleased to report that our new Horticulture Pod has been installed and is ready for use. This outdoor learning classroom will be used for groups working on the horticulture beds and as a therapeutic space. It will allow our students and visiting groups to work indoors if the weather is bad or to open the doors and head straight out to the horticulture beds on drier days.

A decking area outside the doors will be installed over the half term break and will act as a further platform for learning.

Horticulture is currently part of the vocational offer and students throughout the school get involved with growing different vegetables, flowers and plants.

Thanks to Tom’s Trust for their continued support which enables us to continue to improve the farm facilities at the school.
