Learners take top spot in Boccia tournament

By Fiona Wilkins - October 15th, 2026 | Posted in Article

Learners in Years 7-10 made the short journey to Burntwood School to compete in an 8-team Boccia Tournament. It was a fantastic morning, and we are delighted to report that after a 2^nd place group phase finish, the boys produced amazing performances in the semi-final and final and finished in 1^st place.

It was wonderful to see a focused and brilliant performance by the whole team of six players with some stand out performances despite some pre-tournament nerves! The whole team displayed superb behaviour and team spirit from start to finish. Well done!
