Nightingale’s Key Stage 3 ‘derby’ match

On Friday afternoon the Key Stage 3 Football teams travelled to Rosslyn Park FC for the first ever NCA v NPL fixture. For those who don’t know NCA is Nightingale Community Academy (main site on Beechcroft Road) and NPL is Nightingale Priory Lane in Barnes, a satellite site to the main school that opened earlier this year.

The game was an entertaining encounter and was played in a fantastic spirit throughout.  Despite the best efforts of the NCA boys, NPL recorded a deserved 4-1 victory. The NCA goal scorer was Dillan, who also was awarded player of the match!

Everyone is looking forward to a return fixture shortly after half term!
