Wandsworth Visitors

We were delighted to once again host visitors from Wandsworth Borough Council who took the time to speak to pupils and visit some of our facilities including our vocational learning areas. Nick Pendry, the Deputy Director of Children’s Services and Amelia Willis, the Participation Development Lead have been regular visitors this academic year.

One of our pupils Bradley gave them a guided tour which took in the piglets who are some of latest additions to Tom’s Farm, the vegetable garden which has been carefully tended by the horticulture students and a visit to the constructions workshop.

The principal and leadership team, well supported by the Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust, have provided strong leadership, which has had a positive impact on the school’s effectiveness. As a result, there have been improvements in all areas, most noticeably in pupils’ behaviour and attitudes, the curriculum and in the wider opportunities for pupils.
