We are pleased to welcome two new additions to Tom’s Farm. The new arrivals, Tahlia and Toffy are pygmy goats and will be working as therapy animals with our pupils. The pair were born at Merrist Wood College in December and come to Tom’s Farm, almost fully grown. Their small size makes them ideal to be used around children and young people and we are sure they will be a much loved addition to our animal therapy team.
The principal and leadership team, well supported by the Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust, have provided strong leadership, which has had a positive impact on the school’s effectiveness. As a result, there have been improvements in all areas, most noticeably in pupils’ behaviour and attitudes, the curriculum and in the wider opportunities for pupils.
