Summer Celebration Event 2025
We celebrated the achievements of the year at a special end of term awards event attended by parents, carers and families. Everyone basked in the sunshine and cheered on all those receiving certificates and awards in recognition of all the hard work that has taken place this year.
The Principal, Sarah Brooks, welcomed everyone and thanked parents and carers for their support. Primary pupils were the first to be recognised and they received certificates to acknowledge progress that had been made in the classroom. The most improved reader was presented with a special trophy and there were also medals for attendance and sports day. Primary pupils and their families went to enjoy lunch, and our musicians performed for them.
The Secondary presentation began by recognising everyone’s hard work and pupils received certificates to mark their progress. Awards were also presented to individuals in the subject areas including English, maths, science, music, art, construction and PE. The NCA WISE awards were presented to to those who had best demonstrated the NCA WISE values. There were also medals for attendance and sports day.
We were pleased to be joined at the end by our school Police liaison officers who also had certificates to present to those who had engaged with them during the year.
Finally it was time to acknowledge the Year 11, 12 & 13 pupils, particularly those who are leaving us at the end of the year. As the formal part of the day finished our musicians performed as families enjoyed lunch and the sunshine
After the formal presentations, our pupils and their families enjoyed lunch and spending time outside in the school grounds. There was also an opportunity for parents and carers to talk about their son’s progress and end of year report. It was a great opportunity to celebrate all the achievements of the year and acknowledge progress that has been made.
