Students

Nightingale Community Academy is a school for boys aged between 5 and 19 who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or Statement of SEN for social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Our aim is for all students to leave school as confident people and participative citizens, having gained the skills, qualifications and attributes that will enable them to take their place in society.

The principal and leadership team, well supported by the Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust, have provided strong leadership, which has had a positive impact on the school’s effectiveness. As a result, there have been improvements in all areas, most noticeably in pupils’ behaviour and attitudes, the curriculum and in the wider opportunities for pupils.
