Sports Day 2023
Well done to everyone who took part in Sports Day on 13th July. It was fantastic that so many parents, carers and family members were able to come along and support the students.
The day started on the school field with some fun activities designed to test accuracy, agility as well as speed. These included hurdling hay bales, the water bucket challenge and bean bag throw.
After a short break and a highly competitive game of football, everyone returned for the tug of war. Primary-age pupils competed against each other, and then secondary year groups. Finally the pupils took on staff and parents.
After lunch, we headed over the road to Trinity Fields for the track events which were organised by age. We just about managed to squeeze in all the races before the rain came down.
It was a very enjoyable day for everyone with the right level of good sportsmanship and friendly competition.
