Nightingale Community Academy (NCA) Celebration Evening

Dear Parents/Carers

We warmly invite you to NCA Celebration Evening on Tuesday 28th June 2022. We hope you will join us, from 2pm, in recognising all the achievements of our fabulous boys this year where your child will receive awards certificates, medals and trophies!

Upon arrival, you will receive an information sheet which will map out all the afternoons events held to enjoy the day’s festivities. Joshua Farrell (Farm Manager) and the team from Tom’s Farm will be showcasing some of our wonderful pedigree stock and the boys will be showcasing work from across the curriculum.

There will be some delectable treats made courtesy of our Chef, Sherri and her team of pupil helpers and I am reliably assured there will be some delicious homemade beverages to help you wash it all down!

There will be a chance for you to have a quick chat with the teachers and support staff to review your child’s learning, you will have the opportunity to meet the boys’ new Tutors/Teachers for the academic year 2022-23 before the big awards celebration commences!

Students will remain on site for the duration of the ceremony and teachers will start giving you a call from next week to confirm your attendance.

We very much hope you will find the time to come into school and celebrate with us and we look forward to welcoming you all here.

Yours faithfully,

Ms Shalomi Guthrie-Marshall

KS3/KS4 Teacher

The principal and leadership team, well supported by the Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust, have provided strong leadership, which has had a positive impact on the school’s effectiveness. As a result, there have been improvements in all areas, most noticeably in pupils’ behaviour and attitudes, the curriculum and in the wider opportunities for pupils.
