Nightingale Community Academy Expansion approved
We are pleased to announce that the Department for Education has approved the Trust’s application for planned/incremental growth of 46 places at Nightingale Community Academy from 120 to 166 from September 2025.
Wandsworth Local Authority have identified a need for additional SEMH places from September 2025 and approached the school to increase the number of places. The additional children will be accommodated in two additional classes on site, one in Year 7 and one in Year 11. This will mean there would be three classes in Year 7 from September 2025.
The school is working to reconfigure existing space to accommodate these two extra classes. There will also be some infill of places in some existing classes, for example there are a few spaces available in Primary classes.
Sarah Brooks, Principal, said, “We are pleased to be able to meet the demand for additional places for young people in need of a specialist place in the local area from September and look forward to welcoming these children and their families into the school community.”
