Enrichment

Students are given many opportunities to develop their life skills through regular off-site activities. Some of our off-site trips are linked directly to students’ curricular studies, such as trips to the theatre or museums, and shopping for food that will be cooked in catering lessons.

Other trips are part of our rewards system, whereby students who have gained their fortnightly points target are rewarded with a trip.

All of the off-site visits offer experiences that our students may not otherwise have access to and we use them as an opportunity to further develop students’ social skills, their understanding of money, their ability to use transport confidently, and to challenge students by encouraging them to step outside of their usual ‘comfort zone’.

We’re excited to begin our partnership with Orchard Hill College Academy Trust, together working towards positive outcomes for our students
