ChatHealth Service launches
Children and young people aged 11 to 19 and parents and carers of children aged 5 to 19 in Wandsworth can now get in touch with the school nursing service via a new service called ChatHealth. From 16th September they can send a text message via ChatHealth, anonymously if they wish, to the school nurse to get confidential help and advice about a range of health concerns.
Wandsworth ChatHealth number 07312 263901
These include emotional health and wellbeing, bullying, sleep, bedwetting, behaviour, nutrition, support with medical conditions in school, sexual health, relationships, alcohol and drugs.
ChatHealth is a new initiative launched by the provider of school nursing services in Wandsworth, CLCH (Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust) as a quick and easy way to get in touch with the school nursing service.
ChatHealth will be available Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) from 9am to 4:30pm. When a message is sent to the ChatHealth number, an automated reply confirms the message has been received. A trained healthcare professional will reply to the message during office hours within 24 working hours of receiving the message. This is not an emergency service; urgent help should be sought from an NHS walk-in centre or by calling NHS 111. In an emergency, dial 999 or go to A&E.
